第七屆香港公開 "精英" 體育舞蹈錦標賽 及第一屆全港表演舞大賽報名賽手超過一百對, 參加的國家包括有中國、澳門、馬來西亞、星加坡、泰國及香港, 晚上舞會開始之前, 首先頒發十二月份考獲皇家舞蹈教師協會業餘/職業証書的考生, 舞會筵開四十席, 遠超過往六屆的場面,舞會高潮當然是陳航行、高玉文的表演, 他們先跳一隻標準混合舞, 再跳一隻全新的拉丁表演舞, 之後Encore半隻查查查。 這次比賽陳航行、高玉文還有三件特別感到欣慰的事 : 一是扭腰舞參賽人數破紀錄 ; 二是第一次主辦的表演舞大賽雖然報名這項目的選手很少, 但口碑非常好 ; 三是看到自己的學生取得公開職業標準舞的冠軍!!

The 7th Best of Best HK Open DanceSport Championship & 1st National Showdance Championship attracted over 100 couples from China, Macau, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand & host Hong Kong. Before the dinner party commenced, ISTD Medal/Professional Certificates Presentation was held. Evening dinner tickets sold out with 40 full tables. Couples' entries and dinner ticket selling both exceeded previous six occasions. The highlight of the party was the show by Lawrence & Gertrude. They danced one Ballroom Segue, one brand new Latin Showdance, and Encore with a little Cha Cha Cha. Additionally, Lawrence & Gertrude were really pleased with three special outcomes – (1) the entries of Twist broke records ; (2) The new Showdance event received big applause and appreciation from audience ; (3) the title of Open Professional Standard category was taken by their students!
