Our dancing friends (especially those from Europe) always called us Unbelievable when they learned that we organize our Championships on Christmas Day every year . We are proud to have allowed The Best of Best HK Open DanceSport Championships (BOB) stepped into 15^th anniversary on 25/12/13.

A successful championships must be able to allow the competitors and the audience to dance in the best venue. BOB surely has built up her reputations as being the only DanceSport competitions in Hong Kong held in the Kowloonbay International Trade & Exhibition Centre – the best possible venue for DanceSport banquet function in Kowloon !

Each & every year we inject new elements into BOB, we had at 15^th BOB : (i) M2M competitions for the first time in HK ; (ii) ISTD Gold Star Medals presentation to 11 Junior candidates from our Studio ; (iii) registered as WDC AL City Open Amateur Championships (Standard) event ; (iv) Open Amateur Standard Final & Open Professional Latin Final were held in the evening. ( Advanced announcement : Open Professional 10--Dance Championships will be held at 16^th BOB )

Six finalists representing China, Hong Kong, Korea, Malaysia, Taiwan & Thailand (what a perfect combination) danced out of their heart in front of 36 dinner tables of knowledgeable guests and 13 international panel of adjudicators. The best of best young Amateur couples from China (Yang Zhen Yu & Liao Ai Ying) & Hong Kong (Lai Kai Sun & Liu Wan Hin) took the first two spots with marginal difference. The other four couples pulled out all the stop but could only be content with 3^rd to 6^th positions - 3^rd UM, Dong-Chan & Kim, Jee-In (Korea) , 4^th Liu Yi Tsuen & Liu Yue Yu (Taiwan), 5^th Johnston Lim & Nicole Tan (Malaysia), 6^th Chalongrat Thianwattanachot & Kanockluck Jeerawongsoontorn (Thailand).

Open Professional Latin Champions Manuel Favilla & Natalja Maidiuk (Ukraine) danced 14^th BOB when they were new partnership & ranked 24^th in the World Ranking events. This year they already made the Final of the 2013 WDC World Professional Latin Final – what an amazing & promising achievement ! The rest of the finalists were as follows : 2^nd Vander HinLon & Zhao ShanShan (HK),3^rd Lee Jae-Hyun & Jung, Hyun-Ah (Korea), 4^th Ma Sing & Law Tik Yan (HK), 5^th Wang Je Wei & Wang Yi Jiang (Taiwan), 6^th Chow Sum Wah & Michelle Wong (HK). Having good connections with BOB, Manuel & Natalja treated the guests with two emotional honour dances.

Open Amateur Latin – 1^st Alexander Andreichev & Kristina Nikiforova (Russia), 2^nd Zhu Qing & XiongYuan (China), 3^rd Johnston Lim & Nicole Tan (Malaysia), 4^th Qui Tian & Deng Han Yue (China), 5^th UM, Dong-Chan & Kim, Jee-In (Korea), 6^th Hou Nan & Chen Chen (China), 7^th Auyeung Yiu & Yip Tsz Tung (HK), 8^th Wong Shui Sing & Ko Hei Tung (HK).
Zhu & Xiong challenged strongly to Sasha & Kristina.

Open Professional Standard – 1^st Wu Hao & Ding Nan (China), 2^nd Wu Fai & Wong Yat Sin (China), 3^rd Lee Jae-Hyun & Jung, Hyun-Ah (Korea), 4^th Vander HinLon & Zhao ShanShan (HK), Wang Jia Sinh & Lin Jian Ni (Taiwan), Wei Wei & Connie Choi (China), 7^th Li Yian & Wong Kwun Yuk (China), 8^th Kenny Xu & Jenny Tseung (HK).
1^st & 2^nd from China are similar to Open Amateur Standard with Ding Dong results & performances.
