Competitions started at 1100 hrs until 1815 hrs. Adjudicators from Australia, Sri Lanka, Macau, China and Hong Kong put their pens on marking sheet to access 63 Solo dancers and 103 couples from Russia, Sri Lanka, Singapore, China & Hong Kong. Celebration ceremony of Handover of Hong Kong to China Sovereignty was held at 1900 hrs. Six distinguished couples (Champions & Runners-Up on the Day) were invited to deliver their Honour Dances in the presence of Honourable Guests from the HKSAR Central & Western District Council.
