Report of 21st Best of Best HK Open DanceSport Championships
The annual DanceSport competition - 21st Best of Best HK Open DanceSport Championships & Christmas Party was at Kowloonbay International Trade & Exhibition Centre inundated with joyfulness & harmony on Christmas Day 2019 notwithstanding the social environment in HK was surrounded by intimidating incidents in the past six months.

To compare with the highest data in 2018 for the past 20 years, the performances of 2019 were much beyond my expectations. My persistence, hard working & endurance paid off. Adjudicators and competitors from Canada, China, England, Germany, Korea, Malaysia, Philippines, Russia, Singapore, Taiwan & Thailand put up a tight and quality competition schedule from 11.00 hrs to 22.15 hrs interspaced with evening Christmas Party.
This year I was impressed with two First-Times in 21 years of Best of Best history : (i) support of the best HK dancers in the past 10 years, namely Cedric &Jennifer, Henry &Yanise , Ocean & Nancy in Professional Latin ; and Conant & May , Mac & Vesta in Professional Ballroom (my wish to attract all HK best dancers working together in one event came true) ; (ii) 600 programme magazines were sweeaway by competitors and guests (my heart-breaking articles & messages written in the programmes were truly appreciated by all at venue).
Also with the encouragements of my wife Gertrude, I would like to carry on organizing this special & unique DanceSport Championships in Hong Kong for at least the next 20 years!
