Fong Kin Ling Dance Club cordially invited me to organize on their behalf the 1st Tin Shui Wai Open DanceSport (HKDSA) Competitions on 13th January 2008. The Hong Kong DanceSport Association organized competition on the same day. This specific gained experience seemed to have rewarded me with all the dedications and efforts that I have put forward towards the couples of our Council in the past years. Most couples of our Council had exhausted their energy to having competed in Tin Shui Wai, immediately rushed to join the HKDSA competition in Tai Kok Tsui. Only 2 or 3 couples of our Council decided only to dance the HKDSA competition. Mr Yip, HKDSA President, and myself had co-operated well in arranging the schedule of both competitions so that those competitors whisking to both competitions were able to fulfill their tasks and wishes. I could recall in September 2006, it was with great honour that I was invited by the Western Market Centennial Project to organize the Western Market Centennial Cup Ballroom Dancing Championships. Coincidently, Macau DanceSport Federation organized two days Championships at the same time. Similarily, I felt really emotional as only 2 or 3 couples of our Council chose to dance in Macau on that occasion and these 2 or 3 couples did join the Tin Shui Wai competition on 13/1/08! I took up the above two assignments because I always want to challenge & test my own abilities. Meanwhile, these two competitions are full of meaning : one was only for the first time in one hundred years ; the other one was held in the area nicknamed, "Town of Tragedy". Fortunately, both events had brought joy and laughter to the audience. What else could be demanded! 二零零八年一月十三日被芳堅玲舞蹈社誠意邀請統籌主辦第一屆"天水圍體育舞蹈公開賽", 碰正香港體舞盟在同日舉行比賽, 這次的經歷令我感到多年來盡心盡力為本會賽手出力的心血沒有白費, 因為大部份本會賽手都不辭勞苦先跳完天水圍的賽事, 再趕往大角咀参加舞盟的比賽, 祇有三、兩對本會賽手選擇参加舞盟的比賽, 沒有往天水圍, 本人跟舞盟的葉會長亦惺惺相惜, 各自盡量安排時間賽程務求令風塵僕僕兩邊賽的賽手能夠達成心願, 完成兩邊賽事。

尤記起二零零六年九月有幸被市區重建局邀請統籌主辦 "西港城百週年紀念盃", 當時亦碰正澳門體舞盟舉辦連續兩天的體育舞蹈大賽, 同樣令我感到無限溫暖的是, 祇有三、兩對香港本會賽手選擇参加當時澳門的比賽, 而這三、兩對賽手都有参加今次天水圍比賽!

我承辦以上兩個比賽除了是對自己的考驗之外, 亦因為這兩個確實都是非常有意義的比賽 : 一個是一百年才舉辦第一次 ; 一個是在人稱"悲情市鎮"的天水圍舉行。尚幸兩個賽事都沒有令觀眾失望, 為他們帶來不少歡樂, 功德無量!
